About Jim Sampson
Jim began his insurance career in 1997 with Aetna U.S. Healthcare after enlisting in the U.S. Army Reserves and graduating from the William Allen White School of Journalism at the University of Kansas.
He spent six years in insurance operations, including life and health underwriting, before moving into a Consultant role in 2002, when he began advising employers on employee benefits strategies.
Over the ensuing 22+ years, Jim has worked with hundreds of employers, each with its own unique approach to attracting and retaining a quality workforce.
Those experiences, combined with advanced studies that enabled him to earn his Group Benefits Associate (GBA), Registered Employee Benefits Consultant (REBC), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), have enabled him to offer clients deep technical expertise with well-earned perspective.
Those combine into a unique approach focused exclusively on helping employers create quality employee experiences so they remain an employer of choice and an employer of impact.
Outside of work, Jim is an outdoor enthusiast, hobby runner, and lifelong learner. He has a deep and abiding love for family, friends, and adventure.
He resides in northern Colorado with his wife. They share a blended family of three college-aged children.
