About The Employee Benefits Advisor

The Employee Benefits Advisor is an independent publication launched in October 2024.

The EB Advisor exists to share lessons gifted to us through all the wonderful people we have met through our careers advising hundreds of organizations.

The Employee Benefits Advisor will primarily focus on conversations and feedback about the ever-evolving continuum of solutions available to employers to improve their employees' experience as we move forward.

However, we're also passionate about personal wellbeing. Specifically, we enjoy learning and sharing ideas directed around the concept of growth mindset. We are fascinated how individuals can become the most genuine, unique, and best versions of ourselves.

In the past, Jim had a separate blog addressing these more personal topics. Ultimately, however, he has come to believe they are interrelated.

To achieve the best outcomes within our health plans, we also have to help people attain the best outcomes in their own lives - physically, mentally, and emotionally.

For better or worse, the two are intricately connected.

For that reason, we have unified those topics under this publication.
